Sunday, every Sunday, let's have a community picnic. It's probably been a long week, and it's lovely to have a few minutes to sit back and relax and enjoy some good conversation in a less formal space. Feel free to bring something for the Picnic Basket - a poem you liked this week, a thought you had or something you experienced, or even something completely unrelated to poetry whatsoever that you just feel like sharing. Just take a moment to say hello, and maybe have a bite to eat; no one is going anywhere fast, and the shade promises some relief from the everyday heat. Let’s get to know each other a bit better, here under the branches of the poet’s tree.

While this may not be very useful feedback, I just wanted to say that while sonnets are not my area of expertise or interest, I really appreciated the amount of effort

lnhammer put into hosting this past week. I did not have enough of use to say to reply to the posts, but I greatly enjoyed reading them, and thought it was wonderful how audience engagement was encouraged by the prompting questions at the end of each post. Really well done overall; thank you.

I have not had a chance to comment on each post due to the head cold that I developed earlier this week. But I wanted to thank

lnhammer for doing such an amazing job in exploring sonnets. It was a fascinating and rich week and I will have to go back and re-read many of the entries so that I can savor them more. Thank you for the amazing amount of work that you put into this week. It was very much appreciated.
