1.) The Anonymous Feedback Poll #2 is staying open one more day to allow for last-minute participants. It will close when I get up tomorrow morning, roughly 7:00 am EST. Thank you everyone who has participated so far - the feedback really is enormously helpful for
alee_grrl and I, especially since we're about to embark on a week of tweaking and cleaning up around the comm and doing some longer term planning.
2.) It looks like "Various editors/community moderators on publishing poetry and/or distributing it online" is currently winning in the aforementioned poll for the theme for this upcoming multi-Hosted week, so that's what we're going with. (The themed week in April will likely be the runner up, i.e. "Teaching poetry / analysing poetry / poetry criticism".) If you have favorite poetry communities online or small press poetry magazines or other alternative sources of edited or otherwise moderated poetry, please leave me a comment at this post and I'll see if I can find a moderator or editor from that organization who might be interested in talking about their experiences here at the comm this upcoming week. We already have one confirmed Host,
ailelie from the newly founded Plunge magazine, but I'm hoping for four - six total over the course of Monday through Saturday.
2a.) Some of the posts may be done in an interview format. If you have any suggestions re: good questions, please also feel welcome to leave such at the same post.
