Are confusing: what exactly constitutes an 'associated post by a comm member'? Can subscribers submit links too?

Would be even better if they included poetry news from outside the comm

I'd love to comment and participate in the discussion but sometimes I just feel overwhelmed by the amount of posts here. Is it good to have a poetry host every week so that there's always things to discuss and the community doesn't die? Yes, absolutely. Do I feel like anything I could say is not really worth saying? Also fairly Yes. How did you all get started with writing (and, really, discussing) poetry?

Yeah, I keep trying to make a point of commenting more, then I get overwhelmed by my entire reading list. Anyway, right now it looks like I'm in a "I'm trying to keep on track" mood, so for a few days at least I'll keep on track. I'm trying to at least comment on one aspect of a poem so that the poster has an idea of the audience here, as well. I know that most people like to have feedback of any kind - and I'd like to be able to help provide that, if I can. I guess I'll get better at *that* with practice too.

I guess it comes down to purposeful practice and habit - the more you do it, the easier it gets and the more confident you'll feel in pulling out elements of a poem or a piece of meta and holding them up to the light for others to see.

All right then - New Year's resolution: Practice commenting. ;)
