National Haiku Writing Month -- February

This popped up on a mailing list today:

 

February is National Haiku Writing Month.  It is the shortest month, so

why not celebrate with the shortest genre of poetry by writing a haiku a

day for February?

Prompts for February, so far:

1 - apple

2 - boat

3 - catfish

There is a facebook page where people can post their haiku:

On the facebook page, you can find the prompts by clicking the graphic for

the month (February).  Michael Dylan Welch is doing the prompts and he's

posting them in the comments section of the graphic.
