Pod Together Signups

General reminder to one and all that today is the last day to sign up as an individual or as a group for pod_together. Some things to consider if you've been hesitating:

• There's no penalty for dropping out if you need to (this is what pinch-hitters are for), so what do you have to lose if you sign up and see how far you can get by the July 7th check in?


• The sheer diversity of Yuletide fandoms reminds us that just about anything can be used as inspiration for a transformative work. From television commercials to YouTube videos, from badass women in history to anthropomorphized academia, your imagination's the primary limit.


• If you find that 1k+ word count intimidating regardless of whether you approach it as one poem or many, why work alone? Comment on this post to find one or more collaborators to write poetry with for the challenge. You can divide the word count and multiply your fun.

Pod Together with Schrodinger's Heroes

jjhunter suggested that I remind folks that Schrodinger's Heroes  is an open-source fandom.  This is science fiction about quantum mechanics and saving the world, and it will cross over with anything.  It already has poetry (and other stuff) by multiple authors.  So if anyone wants to use this for Pod Together, go ahead.  If you give me a URL for your entry, I'll link it on the menu page.
