Regrettably, your co-administrators here at
poetree need to take a week off. Both of us are in the midst of end-of-term preparation and doing our best to balance graduate school, health issues, and the things we do for fun (e.g. maintaining this community). I apologize for the technical difficulties and slow-down in the community this month. We will get back up and running shortly.
In the meantime, we are always in need of more hosts. Hosting is meant to be a fun and easy experience and we do our best to make sure that it is a non-stressful as possible. The requested commitment is for three posts during your week, though more are always welcome. The posts can be on anything poetry related. They can be about your own poetry, other poetry (though we asked that you request permission of the author for reposting their poem, or that you use creative commons licensed and public domain works). They can be about reading poetry, teaching poetry, editing poetry, or some other topic related to poetry. If you are interested in hosting a week please add a comment over on our sign-up post.
I sincerely apologize for the delay in our regularly featured Multi-hosted themed week, and the weekly challenges. These features will return shortly. Thank you all very much for your patience and kindness as we try to keep things running smoothly. We welcome any suggestions and feedback regarding the community. Please feel free to contact either myself or
jjhunter at any time.
