Today marks the day before the official Pod Together check-in #2, and thus the deadline for our Challenge 35 ("Draft a poem or poem series of 1,000+ total words for
pod_together by July 20th"). If you've drafted 1k+ words of poetry for a formal (or informal!) Pod Together fill by the end of today, you're eligible to win some awesome prizes, so don't forget to leave a comment to that effect on the official challenge post.
Whether or not you're done writing or just getting started, we want to hear from you! Please comment on this post or the admin post at some point this weekend re: the following, and remember that you can still request additional support at any point during the challenge.

Date: 2013-07-20 09:44 pm (UTC)The news of Princess Gwen's supposed treason reached
the village with crown mage Eleri, hunter mage.
It was, as Enid thought, an accusation that
Gwyneira tried to take the throne untimely, not
willing to wait until her time to become queen.
The word came on Eleri's lips, and she did warn
them not to spread it, for fear the treas'nous princess would
hear it and flee. She looked at Gwen while saying this.
ETA: Broke two thousand words. Still don't have a draft.
ETA2: I think I'm done.
