Now wait a minute, Mr. Socks Fox!
When a fox is in the bottle where the tweetle beetles battle
with their paddles in a puddle on a noodle-eating poodle,
THIS is what they call...
a tongue twister supreme! Today we have three takes on the closing tweetle beetle battle portion of Dr. Seuss' 'Fox in Socks', as well as a bonus reading of the entire poem with commentary by
kate_nepveu. You can listen to each via their respective embedded player (note that you may need to click the play triangle twice), or download the audio files by right-clicking and saving-as the hyperlinks.

Date: 2013-05-29 08:34 pm (UTC)These were fun! The only thing I have to add is that I did fumble the reading partway through and had to start that bit over and edit accordingly, but I can't remember where exactly it was now.

Date: 2013-05-29 09:53 pm (UTC)Re: fumbling, heh, my take was attempt #4 or 5. (Less because of fumbling the duddled fuddled wuddled part, though I did do that once, but rather because I kept calling the poem 'Socks in Fox' when staring at the 'Mr. Socks Fox!' line.)
