I love that phrase, conversational inevitability. I think it's the hallmark of really good cowboy poetry. Of course this line rhymes with this one. Of course the emphasis lies here. Of course the lines are as long as they are, that's how it's supposed to be. The whole thing fits smoothly together, and you never see how much work goes into the process.
