This icebreaker was originally intended to be a series of interview excerpts, but due to time constraints the admins are opening it up as a set of questions for discussion instead. Please feel free to join in regardless of whether you are or have ever been signed up for the
pod_together challenge, let alone a poetry project for this year.
Ever collaborated with someone else on a creative project? Share one or two of your favorite stories about collaborating - what surprised you? challenged you? delighted you?
Which do you think has a bigger impact on what it's like to collaborate with someone: the type of collaboration or the person you're collaborating with?
What tools / media do you find most useful for collaboration? Are there any in particular you would recommend to people attempting to collaborate on text or audio?
What's different about a writer-performer style collaboration versus, say, a writer-writer collaboration or a writer-artist collaboration? What kinds of expertise might a performer bring to the table, and what are ways writers might take advantage of that expertise into their writing process?
And bonus, just because:
