How Are You? (in Haiku)

As per untonuggan's suggestion on the latest Sunday Picnic post, I'm making this a semi-regular feature over at my journal. Today's iteration can be found here.

Pick a thing or two that sums up how you're doing today, this week, in general, and tell me about it in the 5-7-5 syllables of a haiku. I will leave anonymous comments screened unless otherwise asked; feel free to use this to leave private comments if that's what you're most comfortable with.

Reading poetry (a layered approach)

Reading poetry is a very personal thing, much like viewing art or listening to music. There are many layers that can be added or subtracted from the approach, and each layer has its own joy and beauty. For instance there is what I like to call the surface approach. For me this is the initial glance at a work of art, the first read of a poem. A moment to savor the image or words without really thinking too much about it, to feel rather than to analyze.
