Intro to Pod Together Lightning

pt_lightning would like to welcome poetree members to join us this March for Round 3 of Pod Together Lightning!

This week the pt_lightning admins, somnolentblue and fleurrochard, are collaborating with poetree_admin to bring you a week of tie-in activities leading up to this Saturday, when sign-ups officially open. Today, we're saying hello (hello!). Our plans for the rest of the week include a short form poetry game, this round's official trailer, a coffee house meet 'n greet, and more.


One Month, One Fanwork

Pod Together Lightning is a quickfire collaboration challenge. Inspired by pod_together, writers and podficcers work together over the course of a month to create a fanwork of at least 100 words. It could be short and sweet or long and savory, something you've never tried before or something you've always loved doing -- whatever your partnership decides. Join us and collaborate, create, and have fun!

Round 3 Schedule:

• March 1st-3rd — Sign-ups


• March 4th-6th — Matching and Assignments


• March 7th-29th — Creation


• March 30th — Fanworks due at 11:55 pm UTC


• March 31st — Reveals!

There are two ways to sign up:

- As an individual. You will be matched into a podficcer-writer partnership based on common fandoms, tropes, and genres you list in your sign-up. (Additionally, you can opt-in to being randomly matched if you're feeling adventurous! Random matching is completely optional.)

- As part of a group. If you know people with whom you would like to collaborate, sign up as a group of two or more people.

Or you can sign up to be individually matched and as part of a group -- it's up to you!
