Free Association Game: Thursday
Hello!
I'm Georgie and this is my contribution to the Poetree Free Association week:
This image, from the final scene of Antoine de Saint-Exupery's The Little Prince can certainly stand alone, but is often accompanied by text, which I have included--in French and English because I think they are equally beautiful.
"Quand tu regarderas le ciel, la nuit, puisque j’habiterai dans l’une d’elles, puisque je rirai dans l’une d’elles, alors ce sera pour toi comme si riaient toutes les étoiles. Tu auras, toi, des étoiles qui savent rire ! Et il rit encore."
["In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars will be laughing when you look at the sky at night..You, only you, will have stars that can laugh!"]
