Activist poetry is a title that I suppose fits some of the poems I write; I'd never thought of it like that before, but the title would be apt. I write to educate, to protest, and to express sentiments that are difficult for me to express in any other way.

War, politics, and slavery are topics of particular interest to me. I have written a little on those subjects, though hardly enough to do them justice.
