Cool! The Pueblo Revolt was obviously a key event, not only because it helped save the pueblo cultures from complete obliteration (like what happened to the Jumano and the Opata), but because I think it had a huge impact on pueblo and Navajo religion. Several anthropologists I read speculated about that. I guess I'd feel a little weird about taking on such a purely Indian topic, though, as an Anglo poet. Someone like Simon Ortiz, the Acoma poet, should write it.
